The winner of the $25 cash prize in the blood donating drawing is Justin Kiel!  You may pick up your prize in the office.

G-NW Tigers Baeball and Lady Tigers Baseball will play Triopia at Greenfield today at 4:30p.m.

The High School cheerleading tryout practice will be held at Northwestern tonight from 5:30-7p.m.

7th and 8th grade group photos will be taking today during first hour.

There is a donation box in the office to help with Karleigh Damm’s medical expenses.  Please see any FCCLA member with any questions concerning this.  Any help, no matter how small, is greatly appreciated.

Yearbook order forms can be picked up in the office.  Order forms with payment are due back in the office or to Mrs. Driscoll by Friday, March 28th.  Any student who orders a yearbook by tomorrow at study hall will receive a soda tomorrow at lunch.

#SELFIE Contest sponsored by the Yearbook Staff!  Take a selfie of you or you and your friends and email it to Mrs. Driscoll by Friday, March 28.  The winner will win a $20 coupon toward a yearbook or $20 cash if you have already ordered a yearbook.  There is a limit of 2 submissions per student, but no limit of how many selfies you are in.  So #GETYOURBUTTINGEARANDTAKESOMESELFIES!

The following JHVB players still need to turn in their water bottle:  Amanda Fraley, Stormy Sonneborn, Skylar Harbaugh, Montana Thursby and Machala Kaydus.

Post Prom registration forms can be picked up in the office.  Each Northwestern Junior and Senior must turn in a separate permission form, complete with a parent/guardian signature to the high school office by tomorrow to qualify for the early registration prizes.  The early registration prizes are: 3rd prize - $25 gas card; 2nd prize – Corsage Package and Grand prize - $50 cash.

The Student Council is raising money for their Muscular Dystrophy walk at the end of March and they are hosting a pie in the face contest.  The teacher with the most money in their jar by tomorrow will get a pie to the face at an assembly the last 10 minutes of school tomorrow.  The teachers participating are Mrs. Clagg, Mr. Hampton, Mr. Card and Mr. Spears.  Let’s fill up those jars!

The Student Council is also selling shamrocks for Muscular Dystrophy before school and during lunch hours!  A green shamrock is $1 and a gold one is $5.  Let’s cover the windows of the school with shamrocks!  

Tiger Backer Apparel Wear order forms can be picked up in the office.  Order forms with payment need to be turned in to the office by tomorrow.

This is the last week for 7th and 8th graders to sign up for Little League.

We will be dismissing at noon tomorrow for School Improvement.  We will be using the noon bell schedule.  All bell schedules are posted on the office window.

Sign up in the guidance office to meet with the reps from Blackburn College, MacMurray College, University of Spa & Cosmetology and University of Illinois-Springfield.

The University of Spa & Cosmetology Arts and the University of Spa & Massage Therapy is hosting an open house on Saturday, May 3rd from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at 2913 West White Oaks Drive in Springfield.

SIU-E is offering two one-week long residential summer camps for students in the 9th, 10th, and 11th grades who are interested in engineering.  The camps are June 8-13 and June 15-20 and cost $400.  If interested see Ms. Ghrist for more information.

Today’s lunch is deli wrap, salad, tomato slices, apple, Goldfish crackers.  Breakfast tomorrow is French toast sticks, sausage patty, syrup, yogurt and milk.
