Teacher Residency Grant

Have you thought about teaching and are ready for a career change? Work in our district while you earn your teaching license! Join us for an  Information Session on Wednesday, April 27th from 7:00pm-8:00pm at Blackburn College in the Demuzio Campus Center (DCC) in the ADRs!  See the attached flyer for more information! Opportunity for Teacher Licensure

Blackburn, in collaboration with C.U.S.D. #1, North Mac, Panhandle, Greenfield, Northwestern, and Southwestern districts, has secured a substantial ISBE Teacher Residency Grant to recruit teacher licensure candidates through financial and mentoring support.  The attached flyer outlines the existing program offered at Blackburn. It does not outline the support that will be provided through the grant. 2021-2022 Reopening Plan Information Concerning 2021-22 Reopening Plan (Board meeting for public comment April 21, 2021, May 19, 2021, and July 27, 2021 and available on website for public viewing) This plan is just a tentative plan and subject to changes throughout the summer to match changes made by the Illinois Department of Public Health.
