Congratulations to the 7th Grade basketball team on their victory over Pawnee last night!  The stifling Wildcats defense team gave up one point in the second half to pull away with an easy victory. Austin Anders sealed the victory with a late three pointer while Rhett LeMarr led the team with 16 points and 8 rebounds.

The 8th grade played hard but was defeated last night. Dalton Maguire led the team with 6 rebounds while Robby Kerr guided the Wildcats with 3 points.  

The Wildcats next game is Monday versus Auburn.   

The G-NW Tigers basketball will play New Berlin at Northwestern tonight with the JV game starting at 6:15p.m.  The Little Cheerleaders will perform during the JV game.  The Sophomore class will be serving loaded nachos at the game.  Come out and show your support!

The G-NW Lady Tigers basketball will play Griggsville at Northwestern tomorrow at 1:00p.m.

Attention FFA members there will be a short FFA meeting today during study hall in the Ag room.

The Junior High/ High School Book Fair will be going on next week. It will be open M-W and Friday from 3rd hour through High School study hall and 8th hour in the back of the library.

Auditions for the spring musical will be held Monday, December 16th and Tuesday, December 17th.  Audition materials will be available in the office by the end of the day Monday.

The Office of the Secretary of State is hosting a 2014 Organ/Tissue Donor Awareness Student Poster Contest.  Information on the contest can be picked up in the office.

Juniors and seniors may sign up in the guidance office to meet with the rep from Benedictine University.

The trainer will be here every Tuesday.  If you need to see him, please sign up in the office.  You will be called down by the office when he arrives.

It’s trivia time!  You may answer the trivia question in the office before going to the cafeteria for lunch.  You may use the computer to find the answer. If you answer the trivia question correctly, you receive a paw.  If you are the first person to answer the question correctly, you receive 2 paws.  Yesterday’s question was:   How did Frosty the Snowman travel to the North Pole?  The answer is: He traveled by train in a refrigerated boxcar.   Today’s question is:  In A Charlie Brown Christmas, what part is Sally asked to perform in the Christmas play?


HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO SAVANNAH STAPLES TODAY AND RHETT LEMARR TOMORROW!

Today’s lunch is chicken nuggets, buttered noodles, peas and banana.   Breakfast Monday is breakfast pizza, yogurt and milk.
