As you can see, the Northwestern CUSD #2 web site has changed! We have been working internally for the past few months to redesign the web site, and we will be making additions over the course of the next several weeks and months. The site will continue to evolve and keep you up to date on important school activities and information. One of the reasons we chose the SOCS network was because the site itself is very dynamic; in other words, it has the ability to change... a lot! Elementary Open House

Open House was on May 3rd. The theme this year was biomes. The students decorated the halls covering the major biomes. Parents and families were able to learn facts about deserts, tundras, grasslands, arctic, aquatic, and rain forests. Parents club provided a dinner and a drawing for Cardinal tickets. A book fair was held in the library. The funds help to purchase books for the Northwestern Library. read more

Prom 2012

Congratulations to our 2012 Prom King and Queen – Ben Stults and Jean Ann Gibbs! Prom was held on Saturday, April 28 at the high school gymnasium. The juniors did a great job decorating in the "Enchanted Garden" theme. Special thanks to Mr. Brunaugh and Mr. Emmert, the junior class sponsors, for their extra effort during this event, as well as all to of the students and parents. Post-prom was held at Lake Williamson afterwards. read more
