National Honor Society inducted new members on Wednesday, May 1 at its Induction Ceremony held at the high school gym. Denise Bettis serves as the group's sponsor and Bre Hohimer serves as this year's President. Five members were added to the club including: Ethan Sheley, Kate Elliott, Bri Emmert, Glenn Roemer, and Emma Weller. Other members of club include: Randi Barrow, Bethany Emmert, Rachel Kerr, Miranda King, Erika Conrady, Zach Fagg, Matt Lemon, Courtney McNeely, Zach Mitchell, Lacey Norris, and Eli Weller. The National Honor Society is an organization established to recognize high school students who have demonstrated excellence in scholarship, leadership, service and character. Students must maintain a high GPA and be voted on by teachers.
