John Koslowski from Ameren Illinois was here on Thursday October 15, to speak to our 7th and 8th grade students regarding energy conservation. The Ameren Illinois efficiency programs are designed to help Ameren Illinois customers pay for home energy efficiency improvements. Students in the 7th and 8th grades received a Student Energy Education Kit along with directions for implementation into the home. We are encouraging students to participate and fill out the accompanying worksheet in hopes that our district will earn one of the $250 grants that is available through Ameren.
