Do you have time to volunteer for our HEART  Program?

Helping Everyone Achieve Reading Triumphs

Volunteer Description: Reading with students

Wednesdays and Fridays

8:00-8:30 a.m.

 

If you have some extra time and would be willing to work with students we could use your help.  The HEART Program was developed to help students with reading skills.  Our volunteers read with students, normally first or second graders, to help them develop reading skills.  The program is on Wednesday and Friday mornings from 8:00-8:30 a.m. if you would like to volunteer please contact Mrs. White at dwhite@nwcusd.org or call 217-346-2442 extension 1250.  If I am not able to come to the phone please leave a message and I will get back to you.  

All volunteers must do a background screening each year at a cost of $8.00.  Once the background screening is approved you may start volunteering.
