Reserve a spot on your calendars for May 12, 2014 from 6:30-7:30 P.M. Plan to attend our Meet the Author & Book Swap night at Northwestern Elementary Gym.
The Meet the Author portion of our evening gives you the opportunity to see first hand the work of some authors within our school building. Mrs. White and Mrs. Phillips reading block students created a book, which was submitted to the Kids are Authors contest. We don’t know if it will win the contest but these authors worked very hard and want to share what they created and learned with you!
We will also have a Book Swap going on that evening. Students may bring 1-3 gently used books to NW Elementary Library for the book swap until May 9th. Mrs. Phillips will keep track of who brings in books. The night of the Book Swap families sign in, tickets will be given to students according to the number of books he/she brought in, which then can be traded for gently used book that someone else brought in.
